Wow, nobody's reviewed Kosher Palace yet? I'm shocked. I remember when this place opened. I think the neighborhood had a collective orgasm, because of all the Jewish families who till then had to shop around town in various smaller marts for their kosher goods. Now, it's all in one place. The Jews saw it, and it was good. They have everything there, and I really mean everything (well, except non-kosher stuff). Somehow they manage to fit the feel of a big store like Waldbaums into the smallish sq-ft allotment that they have to spare, all fit together like a well-built Lego house. There's a bakery section with fresh rolls and challah bread, a full selection of dairy and cheeses, a great meat selection, a loooong list of spices and garnishes, and so on. Grade A supermarket quality stuff. The place is so awesome, the whole community has embraced it. I see non-Jews in there all the time, since it functions like a regular supermarket as well - just everything's kosher (which usually equates to healthier quality in the end anyway). The only thing I'm not so thrilled about is that the cashiers can be kinda rough with your produce after they scan them. I've seen more than one of them fling items across the counter top to the bagger, not really caring if they bounce and end up on the floor. Just a word of warning, so you don't end up with bruised fruit or cracked eggs. Otherwise, this is definitely one of the best supermarkets I've seen in the area.
